Masai Mara is a 1510sq.km and boasts of its rich biodiversity. This nature reserve is characterized by grassland, open savanna plains, and diverse wildlife including warthogs, hyrax, wildebeest, cheetahs, jackals, elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, waterbucks and gazelles.
During the great migration, more than 1.5 million wildebeest accompanied by over 200,000 zebras, gazelles and other mammals can be witnessed roaming in the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. This African safari begins and ends in Nairobi capital, Kenya.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi –road transfer to Maasai Mara, Game Drive
After breakfast, leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara, 6 hour drive journey taking you to Southwestern part of Kenya. This road trip includes navigating via the breathtaking plains of the East African rift valley. Arrive at Narok early en-route, have a stopover at the rift valley to enjoy photography experience at the crater.
Take a break at the Narok town to purchase some souvenirs and proceed to the lodge in Maasai Mara. Have a relaxed stay, leisurely lunch and refreshment then proceed for late afternoon game drive to see the wonders of Maasai Mara Reserve including elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, and antelopes.

Day 2: Masai Mara wildlife safari (full time)
Today’s program includes a long day game viewing through Maasai Mara National Reserve. With an experienced guide with a picnic lunch, your full day wildlife encounter includes sights myriad of wildlife including cape buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, lions, rhinos, grants gazelles, waterbucks, and plenty of birds.
The best months to experience the most of Masai Mara great migration is from July, August, September and from December, January to February, get the best of birthing experience of wildebeest. Dinner and a night stay will be at the pre-booked lodge;

Day 3: Game drive and depart from Maasai Mara
Rise early morning and pack your luggage, then leave the lodge for game drive and this is for you to sight of sun risers and other species that you missed to see the previous day. After the game drive, proceed to Nairobi and today marks the end of 3 day safari in the spectacular Masai Mara Reserve.
