Day 1: Kigali city tour & road transfer to Gisenyi
Following your early morning breakfast, check out of the hotel and embark on a Kigali city tour. The Kigali city expedition includes paying a visit to key sites within the city and the focus will be on Kigali memorial site, Kimironko market and other sites. You may have early lunch from Kigali or en-route to Gisenyi. On your way to Gisenyi, do not miss the scenic views of Lake Kivu and surrounding areas.

Day 2: Drive from Gisenyi to Kibati for briefing & ascend to the top of Nyiragongo
Today, you will be picked up at the hotel in Gisenyi and drive to Rwanda-Congo border to clear with authorities. Continue to Kibati, arriving early enough and get briefed about the safety measures to be followed while on Nyiragongo hiking adventure.
The morning hike to the summits of Nyiragongo begins at 10:00am and the entire trek runs for 5-6 hours. Accompanying you will be experienced guides and porters who will be assisting you with heavy luggage. On reaching to the summits, check in at the Nyiragongo summit shelters for evening relaxation and entire trek, the expert will take you through this volcano, its formation and at night, get treat to mesmerizing views of the boiling crater lava.
Day 3: Descend to Kibati with the lead of an expert & drive back to Kigali
The 3rd is dedicated for you to descend from the summits of Nyiragongo back to Kibati from where you will meet the driver guide ready to proceed to Kigali.
