Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up at the hotel, drive to Bwindi NP
Wake up early on a bright morning, enjoy your breakfast and after, depart Kampala for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Kanungu District. En-route, you will have incredible moment at the Equator crossing and lunch at Igongo cultural centre. From Igongo, proceed with a scenic drive via the countryside rolling hills in Kigenzi region. Arrive at Bwindi where you will check in at your gorilla safari lodge for relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

Day 2: Enjoy Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Adventure
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi marks the first adventure as per this package. First, you will be briefed about safety guidelines for gorilla tracking and the park official will assign you a gorilla family to visit. More than 20 habituated families of mountain gorillas survive within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and only one is visited by a maximum of eight (8) visitors per day.
After enjoying an hour of up close and personal with a family of endangered mountain gorillas, be ready to get back to the lodge or first at the briefing area to be given your gorilla trekking certificate. At the lodge, you will be offered lunch and you have a long evening of relaxation or pay a visit to the Batwa community to interact with the Batwa pygmies- the original forest inhabitants of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park –Queen Elizabeth Park
A hefty breakfast to be enjoyed early morning and after, set off from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En-route, take a break at Ishasha for you to explore the tree climbing lions and plenty of other mammals including topis. After the bush lunch break at Ishasha, proceed up to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

Day 4: Game drive & boat cruise expedition
A leisurely breakfast be enjoyed at the lodge and after, leave early for a guided game drive using a 4×4 safari vehicle. A game drive through Kasenyi plains allows you to observe myriad of wildlife including spotted hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelope families like Uganda Kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks and more.
After lunch, you will take part on a rewarding boat or launch cruise excursion. This involves exploring the wonders of Kazinga channel

Day 5: Drive to Kyambura Gorge, trek chimpanzees
After breakfast, transfer to Kyambura Gorge for a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. You will have great time winding through the rainforest in search for chimpanzees, and a complete hour for observing these primates while in their natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, retreat from Kyambura Gorge for evening relaxation at the safari lodge.
